Offered by Ben Langworthy for Pedlars Vintage Marketplace.
This wonderful jacket is in great -possibly unused- condition and although it's French and of naval origin, is reminiscent of the Old West era, when train engineers and railroad workers wore overalls, caps and work jackets in this type of hickory stripe, before boiler suits were invented in the early 20th century.
The collar has an anchor patch on each side and initials.
I am a collector, restorer and seller of vintage goods. It isn’t my full time job, yet. But one day it might be.
Everything in this collection captures a sense of adventure and exploration. I have always loved reading about the great British explorers, from Shackleton to Amy Johnson, and planning adventures in the outdoors whenever I can. I collect what I can and sell when I can, mainly at vintage fairs. This is a great opportunity for me to offer some of my favourite pieces from my current collection (my flat is quite small).
