From the Pedlars Vintage Warehouse. Dispatched by Team Pedlars.
Having purchased some of the (deceased) artist’s work in the past we were recently invited to view all of the remaining works in the hands of a friend. We purchased the whole collection and this is part of it. This painting is part of a large body of work he painted of the Morvan area in France, a mountainous area slap bang in the middle of the country. There are strong Japanese influences at play (apparently he was massively influenced by Japan) but we can also detect the influence of the fabled Welsh painter Kyffin Williams. We think these are lovely, accomplished paintings with real depth and character and at a fantastic price for an original of this quality. On good art paper.
