“Origin: 1980s. Somerset, UK. One pot casserole dish suitable for the oven and the table. Made by John Leach, grandson of Bernard Leach, from his Muchelney Pottery in Somerset. This range of hand-thrown and wood fired stoneware pot were created as a more accessible set of utilitarian kitchenware to other Leach pieces.
John Leach set up his pottery in 1965, as well as creating a beautiful standard ware range, he also spends time restoring original 15th century village pottery. Condition is excellent.”
