"This is a gorgeous copper milk churn used for churning milk to make butter dating back to around the 1880s. A churn such as this would have been used in large French homes and chateaus by kitchen staff to produce butter for the residence. The churn is made from copper with two brass band and rivets. For its age it is in a beautiful condition with characterful signs of wear of tear. The patina is fabulous."
