I have a collection of Sheffield Steel penknives, which I don’t like selling, on the whole! This particular style of knife, often referred to as a champagne knife, was made in Sheffield by Little Messrs, who made small cutlery. While this is missing it’s long knife blade, this is still an excellent corkscrew. The remaining curved blade is for removing the foil.
I am a collector, restorer and seller of vintage goods. It isn’t my full time job, yet. But one day it might be.
Everything in this collection captures a sense of adventure and exploration. I have always loved reading about the great British explorers, from Shackleton to Amy Johnson, and planning adventures in the outdoors whenever I can. I collect what I can and sell when I can, mainly at vintage fairs. This is a great opportunity for me to offer some of my favourite pieces from my current collection (my flat is quite small).
