Seller. Tamara Broido: Reclectic

"Not an original 1800s apothecary jar but a very cool 1970s reproduction, handpainted El Theria Cum in Germany and made by Herr Fayence, a famous maker of these jars. The jar has the cracked glaze look which looks fantastic and they were quite expensive when they were made in the late '70s. It is stamped under the base. Slightly kitsch but I do love it - kitsch and all.

Styling tips: Love this piece for a bathroom (use it for display or keep bath salts in it) or in kitchen - storing sugar or flour."
