“These incredible 1950s folding spectacles are hand made from two layers of acetate: the surface is pink with a slight pearlescent finish while the main body is black. They also feature a riveted barrel hinge construction with wonderful star detail guards on the front. As well as this they have rhinestones inlaid which all seem to be present. These are a truly practical statement piece and are very, very rare. The condition is just incredible, despite their age there has been no visible discolouration of the acetate and they still have a nice sheen to them. They are near mint.”
