VINTspiration: Series 42
March 03, 2018 - Inspiration
Like every Sunday, today we’re back with another VINTspiration post and more Vintage Inspiration for you to tuck into.
Mhor84. A small, relaxed and well-put-together motel makes a lovely addition to Scotland’s roads for travellers with taste.
Cabin Porn. Take us to Iceland and place us in this cabin now! Does anyone else think it looks like a Highland cow?
Converted Churches. A fascinating tribute to the repurposed churches of the Soviet Union. We’ve always been a little ambiguous about the idea of living in an abandoned church; on the one hand, they are often such beautiful buildings but on the other, it seems a bit weird. But, either way, this is worth a look.
Vintage denim. White Oak Cone Mills in the USA has closed after 112 years of making some of the finest selvedge denim in the USA. This is surprising and sad (but we did see that sales of yoga pants far outstripped those of jeans in the US last year, so perhaps we shouldn't be too surprised). Best Made Co have some of their last denim.
Houseplants seem, well, right at the moment. These guys have gone to town and nailed it!
