VINTspiration: Series 30
November 24, 2017 - Inspiration
Welcome to your weekly VINTspiration, this marks our thirtieth in the series.
We started VINTspiration as an outlet for all the great stuff we stumble across on a daily basis. And given that we've been living and working in the vintage field for around 20 years now we make no apologies that all of these posts will have their roots firmly in vintage. You can see where it all started, and get a good chunk of VINTspiration, by reading our first post here.
Architecture! This is a truly outstanding example of how to convert an old and abandoned church into something new a spectacular. That shot from outside with the lights on is breathtaking.
Fast Car? Cars aren’t really our thing (unless they’re Land Rovers, but don’t get us started). However we here that the always reliable Design Museum has done a great job of tracking Ferrari’s storied history.
Dreaming of a Californian summer? This light-filled San Francisco home offers a masterclass in display of lovely items.
Miniature Scenes (that you can recreate). We’re big fans of this sort of work (and this is particularly good). There’s nostalgia, wit and beauty in each of these.
Automatic for the People! The classic REM album is 25 years old. It became so ubiquitous and we listened to it so much that we couldn’t bear it for many years. But now it sounds wonderful again and there’s a swanky new edition in your local music store.
