VINTspiration: Series 15
August 04, 2017 - Inspiration
Like every Sunday, today we’re back with another VINTspiration post and more Vintage Inspiration for you to tuck into.
Stationery Fever. I came across this wonderful book for Stationery Nuts this week. It’s crammed full of vintage stationery and future classics.
Vintage Rock Stars. David Hepworth’s book, Uncommon People; The Rise and Fall of the Rock Stars is a brilliant, readable and engaging journey through rock from 1955 to 1995. Highly recommended for anyone with even a passing interest in the mavericks that shone so brightly in this golden period.
Great stuff everywhere! This house mixes new stuff with vintage finds really well. Good inspiration!
A Vintage Ford Mustang. Cars aren’t really our thing (other than Land Rovers of course) but when/if our mid life crisis hits we’ll be driving one of these.
Iconic Art from Manchester. Peter Saville’s extraordinary designs for Joy Division, New Order and their Mancunian peers dominated an entire scene for many years. Now you can view a retrospective and it’s worth the journey.
Heading to France? If you are and want to enjoy a morning or two at the brocantes that are part of every village, town or cities’ summer agenda then these paper or digital guides are a must have.
The Idler want to take you to Umbria. It looks wonderful.
