Pedlars 12 Days Of Christmas: Day 8
December 08, 2017 - Competitions
***THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED, CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WINNER HARRIET TURNER!***
Welcome to our now annual Pedlars 12 Days of Christmas!
Over the next 12 days we will bring you a new prize every day from some of our favourite people, and one or two of our own too.
For Day 8 we've teamed up with The Do Book Co to bring you their slow living library, made up of the perfect five books for anyone wanting to slow down, lead a more sustainable life and make something worth sharing. The five guidebooks are: Do Wild Baking, Do Preserve, Do Grow, Do Sourdough, Do Beekeeping - each featuring colour photography, delicious recipes and crammed with tips and advice from leading experts - you will learn how to bake breads and cook delicious meals over a campfire, grow your own vegetables, keep bees and produce honey, bake sourdough bread and make your own jams, chutneys, pickles and cordials.
All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning this brilliant prize is:
- Tag a friend in the related Facebook or Instagram post who you think would also like to enter. (For every friend you tag in, you will be entered into the draw again)
- Follow us @pedlarsworld and @dobookco
The Do Book Company is an independent publishing house based in Shoreditch, London. We produce a series of inspirational guidebooks in print and digital formats. The Do Books books are written by speakers from the Do Lectures whose ideas have inspired others to go and Do. The aim is to recreate that same positive change in book form – whether that’s the mastery of a new skill or craft, a simple mindshift, or a shot of inspiration to help you get started. Each book is fairly short, about 100 pages, as it focuses on the ‘doing’ rather than the background theory. Concise, practical guides that make it easier to Do stuff. A royalty of 5% from the proceeds of each sale will go back into the Do Lectures to help it achieve its aim of making positive change.
We will announce the winner for Day 8 on Monday 11th December.
