An excellent junior version of the outstanding Pass The Bomb. The principle of this game is similar to that of its older sibling. At the heart of the game is a bomb, which, once activated, ticks for between 10 seconds and a minute before ‘exploding’ and so ending a round. Once the bomb is activated a card is revealed. Each card features a different picture and the children are challenged to suggest something appropriate to this picture. So, for example, if the card features a beach scene, suggestions might include a sandcastle, a bucket or whatever. Once a child has made an acceptable suggestion, the bomb, and onus to think up a suitable object, are passed to the next player. And all of this takes place against the background of the ticking bomb…which might go off at any second!
This is the sort of game that can be played by children either with or without an adult. It is absolutely ideal from about 4 to 7 and works well when played by individuals or teams.
Highly recommended.
