From the 1940s and '50s.  Hand blown glass.  Add something sugary (water and jam or sugar, or beer) and replace cork before hanging from a branch or whatever. The wasp then enters through the hole at the bottom and can't escape.  Also a lovely decoration or candle holder.  The wire has been added recently and can be removed. All have corks.
