What the critics say
‘Unlucky in love, exceedingly gifted in melody…his finest moment yet’.
The Observer Music Monthly
Who is he?
The leading light of the Fife-based folk collective, Fence, which spawned the multi-million selling KT Tunstall. Kenny Anderson, aka King Creosote, recently signed to Warners, but is delightfully lacking in ambition and refuses to fully engage in the promotional duties normally expected by major labels.
What do I get?
A collection of lovely, gentle, vaguely eccentric folk/pop songs (and even a touch of disco) all bound together by KC’s remarkable knack for a melody. At the core of this album are Kenny’s exquisite vocals, driven along by lovely guitars and mournful accordions. KC may not actively chase fame, but this beautiful, sometimes bleak, but always uplifting album may just force it on him.
And?
KC has recorded over 30 albums in the last 10 years.
