Late last year we were lucky enough to be offered a vast collection of postcards of images from across The British Isles, from Land’s End to John O’Groats.  The collection was lovingly put together, we think in the 1940’s, and the majority of the cards date from between 1900 and 1935. Naturally, we jumped at the offer.

We’ve always loved old postcards, and try to track them down whenever we travel.  Framing them somehow gives them a sense of importance.

We’ve had some of the postcards mounted and framed by our excellent local framer, who has added a delicate hand-drawn wash line, as shown here.   A lovely reminder of a place you love.   And a real one-off.
